Mushroom Fry/Curry Recipe:
Ingredients:
Mushrooms 400 Grams
2 Large Onions
Curry Leaves 2 Stems
1 Green Chilis
Oil 2 Tbsp
Cumin Seeds 1/4 Tsp
Mustard Seeds 1/4 Tsp
1/4 Tsp Turmeric Powder
1/4 Tsp Chili Powder
1/4 Tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
Millk 1/4 Cup or Fresh Cream
Preparation:
Wash Mushrooms under running water ; do not soak them in water as mushrooms tend to become soggy and soft.
Slice the Mushrooms.
Slice the Onions.
Slit the Chili.
Cooking:
Heat Oil in the Pan
Add Mustard Seeds
Add Cumin Seeds
Add Green Chili
Add Curry Leaves then add sliced onions
When Onions are slightly brown add turmeric powder, chili powder and ginger garlic paste. Mix well.
Add Mushrooms ; mix well ; let it cook for 5-10 Minutes on medium flame; giving a good stir in between
Add Milk/ cream and put the flame to low
Let it simmer for 2 minutes
Mushroom Fry/Curry is ready to serve
Tip :
Cut the mushrooms just before you are adding to the curry to avoid discoloring.
Mushrooms take less time to cook ; overcooked mushrooms are tend to be soggy.
